Adding additional fields to the web form

Customise the web form to include additional fields

By adding additional fields to the web form you can gather more information from your users.

Acorn Aid supports each type of form field and an unlimited number of additional form fields can be added. Each form field can be marked as required to ensure data is captured.

Adding custom fields

  1. Log into your admin e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/acornaid/admin/
  2. Click on the Menu icon in the top right hand corner of the screen
  3. Click Settings > Custom Fields
  4. Enter a Field Name
  5. Select the Field Type (Text, Textbox, Select, Checkbox, Radio)
  6. Tick or untick Required
  7. Enter Options (Field length or field options)
  8. Click Submit

Your custom form field will now be added and available in the user and admin web form.
