Add Live Chat
Live chat has now superseded the Acorn Aid widget.
Live chat enables you to talk to your visitors in real time and quickly resolve any immediate queries.
If you are offline the live chat will continue to be available and will accept quick messages from your visitors.
Enable live chat by following the steps below
Add the Live Chat tab to your web pages
Include the following lines of code in your web pages to add live chat to any of your web pages.

<div id="aa-widget"></div>
An example can be found on index.php in the chat folder.
Go Online or Offline
As an agent you will need to indicate your chat status each time you log in.
With live chat enabled you will see a chat icon beside the menu icon. This will either be red for offline or green for online.
Go online by following these steps
The icon will go green
Go offline by following these steps
The icon will go red
