Forgotten Password, Change Password?

Forgotten Password

If an administrator, supervisor or agent has forgotten their password to log onto the admin pages they can reset their password by following the guide below.

  1. Go to your admin e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/acornaid/admin/
  2. Click Forgotten Password? at the log on screen
  3. Enter a registered email address
  4. Click Submit
  5. An email with a random password will now be sent to the agents registered email address

If a user has forgotten their password to submit tickets or see their ticket history they can reset their password.

  1. Go to your user interface e.g. http://www.yourdomain.com/acornaid/user/
  2. Click Submit Request or Track Request
  3. Click Forgotten Password?
  4. Enter a registered email address
  5. Click Submit
  6. An email with a random password will now be sent to the users registered email address

Change / Reset Password

An administrator has the ability to change any account password from the Settings > Users page.

A supervisor, agent or user can change their own password by going to their profile page and clicking change password.
